In 1811, Napoleon became Emperor of France, at this time the factory was still a supplier of candles to the palace. The royal family liked the product so much that emperor Napoleon ordered a special candle named the Emperor’s Candle to give birth to the new prince. This candle is described as having a large cylinder and decorated with three gold coins engraved Napoleon’s portrait . Until the final years of the monarchy, the shimmering lights from the Trudon house candles were still burning throughout the royal palace of France.

Contrary to the end of the monarchy, Trudon continued to operate until the French Revolution broke out. And even when France started using electricity, its factory was still in operation. Proving that no political or industrial revolution could affect the existence of the Trudon candle factory. Not only that, the Trudon family’s secret is honored with a gold medal at the World Fair held in France in 1889.

It was not until 2007, after 364 years of brand operation, officially named Cire Trudon. Thoroughly and steadfastly maintaining the manual production process despite the fact that machines have gradually replaced people in many fields, Cire Trudon wrote the story about the talent of the founder Claude Trudon.

Developed to this day, Cire Trudon constantly creates more diverse products in fragrance and style. From candles lit royal palaces, to the colorful candles of the Christmas season, or the bottle of room spray, Cire Trudon affirmed a timeless brand.
